Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully as this is the basis of your agreement with us.

UNDER 18s POLICY

Sharkey’s Sports Bar, operates a strict under 18’s policy, 7 days a week. During day time opening hours, under 18s are allowed within the establishment. Strictly over 18s, ONLY, after 9pm (Sun-Thurs) or 10pm (Fri-Sat). All people under the age of 16 must have an adult present.

BOOKINGS

ONLINE BOOKINGS

1. By using our online booking system, you agree to your personal information being stored, on our own personal database.

2. By using our online checkout you agree for your details to be used for in-house marketing (this info will not be shared with 3rd parties)

3. By using our online checkout, you also agree to automatically sign up to our mailing list (You can opt out at checkout, or via e-mail)
   
   

BOOKINGS

1. All bookings must be made at least 1 hour before preferred time, to ensure availability.

2. Any bookings will be held for 15mins after your booking time. After this, we reserve the right to issue your booking to another customer.

3. For certain bookings, we may require a deposit. This deposit will be placed against your booking, and will be refunded to you once you arrive.

4. Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. Unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to booking time.

5. Upon arrival for any activities, we do require a bar deposit of £20 or a valid credit or debit card.

6. For our Star Match table a £50 deposit is required. This can be pre-charged to a credit or debit card or paid in cash.

7. We reserve the right to cancel or modify any bookings received.

8. For VIP rooms and Stadium seating our Loyalty Card holders have priority seating, over non-loyalty card holders, on a set table plan.

DEALS & OFFERS

1. Sharkey’s promotions cannot be used in conjunction with any other deals or offers.
   

2. We reserve the right to modify or cancel all deals & offers at anytime, without notice.
   

3. Student Monday, Loyalty Tuesdays, Table Tennis Sundays; deals require players to purchase a drink to activate deal. If no drink is purchased the table will be charged at normal rate.
   

4. All Tournament and Pro Star Tables are excluded from any free pool deal. (Student Mondays, Corporate Tuesdays & Pitcher Thursdays)
   

5. Champions League Tuesday - Our £2 pint promotion applies to SELECTED DRINKS ONLY. This deal is available every Tuesday from 7pm - 10pm, during the Champions League Season.
   

6. Pitcher Special - To get your free 4 pint pitcher, simply buy 2 hours of pool. Only available on Wednesday and Thursdays. (SELECTED DRINKS ONLY)
   

7. Fifa 20 & Mario Kart - Our machines are available for free hire, 7 days a week. (Subject to availability) A £20 cash or card deposit is required at the bar, in order to play. This deposit will be returned to you, once controllers have been returned to the bar. (We withhold the right to keep the deposit if, controllers are returned damaged or broken)
   

8. THE £1000 CHALLENGE (Southampton only) In order to win this challenge, the player must complete a maximum break of 147 on our Star Match Snooker Table. The player must make a member of staff aware and video footage will be checked to ensure legitimacy. Please note; Sharkey’s reserve the right not to pay, if we decide there is fowl play or the 147 break is a set up. Please note; this must be in matchplay! All Star Tables are recorded with live video feeds, you will receive confirmation within 48hours, if you have won the cheque for £1000. This is an annual offer and can only be won once a year, between January 1st - December 31st.
   

9. Speed Pool - 6 balls to be to be potted as fast as possible
   
   • Timer will begin once the break has happened
   
   • Timer will stop when the last ball is potted
   
   • Game will end with a DNF if the white ball is potted
   
   • You cannot shoot until the white ball has stopped moving ( spinning is ok )
   
   • You can still shoot if the coloured balls are moving
   
   • Times to be taken by a manager on the shift
   
   

10. To qualify for student deals and discounts a valid NUS card must be presented to a member of staff, prior to ordering.
    

11. Season Ticket - Loyalty Card - In order to qualify for this deal a valid copy of your season ticket or membership must be produced and must be applied for on our website.
    

12. Corporate Card - Corporate card holders are entitled to unlimited FREE pool, snooker or table tennis during off peak times. (Monday - Thursday / 12pm-8pm, Subject to Availability)
    

13. TFI Friday - Buy one, get one free offer only applies on Fridays between 1pm - 8pm ONLY. (SELECTED DRINKS ONLY).
    Excludes Southampton home matches that fall on Fridays.
    

14. CHRISTMAS PARTY BOOKINGS

    • Valid from November 1st 2022 to January 31st 2023.

    • Applies to group bookings of 6 or more people only.

    • All bookings must be made in advance via phone or website.

However, if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.
